hi am thinking about touring around the alps biking and hiking in a camper van alone with my dog .Question is it dangerous to ride trails alone (single track not dh ), and how do u leave the dog alone in a camper van securely and so she’s not going to get hot or nicked when she’s not with me , any constructive tips welcome thanks

Leave the windows/skylight partly open in the camper and leave lots of water for your dog. Or take your dog on the trails?

Edit; But bare in mind that the Alps have some pretty big mountains and a bike trip of any decent length is going to take at least 5 hours.

Dogs can survive outside, unless you think it would gnaw through a chain and run away?

If the van is well insulated and has several sky lights they can keep cool.
