I’m currently browsing for a new slightly wider pair of bars and the 35 stuff is cropping up a fair bit. I never realised how many manufacturers are now making them, anyway, is anyone riding with them or tried them? What made you go for the bigger size and did you notice any difference?

Not noticed a difference.
No reason to avoid either.

Only reason I’d avoid them is if my lights, camera, garmin, whatever were going to be a pain to fit.

That’s a very good point.

All a bit pointless IMHO, the MX Boys tried going 35 mm a few years back, it didn’t catch on and if they don’t need it we certainly don’t.
