I’ve some Stans Rapide (Crest’s with eyelets and a pinned joint) that came on the El-Mariachi, the rear hub’s bearings have died, not prematurely, but not as long as I’d have liked, so I’m thinking of swapping the hubs arround and building a CX bike.

Anyone successfully running CX tyres (32mm, not ‘mostercross’ 38mm or small mtb tyres) on crest’s at CX pressures?

Alternatively anyone want some midweight/light singlespeed wheels? Your’s for whatever a pair of iron cross rims cost.

I’m running 33mm Clement PDX clinchers tubeless without issue on my Crests. I’ve run 33mm Ralphs and Maxxis Raze of a similar size in the past.

Not quite 32mm, but you should be fine.
