Is anyone running this? Will it work?

just built up my new Mega AM to find there is not enough clearance on the chain stay for a shimano 3×9 direct mount mech when the suspension compresses.
Of course it’s not possible to get 2×9 in direct mount. (frame requires direct mount)
SRAM 2×10 should have clearance, but will it work with a 9 speed drive train ( says compatibility 10 speed only on CRC)

Or, do I have to bite the bullet and fork out for a 10 speed drive train? 🙁

hi – ’10 speed’ f mech and xt double, with 9 speed rear mech, chain and casette on my hard tail – no issues with compatability, i have had to become smoother changing gear / think more about chain tension as i have dropped the chain a couple of times.
