I’m exploring small framed 26er possibilities.

2nd hand Souls still seem to command c.£200 even for tired/well loved examples which most of them are. One could get a brand new Scion for £250.

What are the relative merits of the frames? Sizing on the Scion looks very fractionally more favourable.

I appreciate this thread is all a bit 2010 but please humour me!

I absolutely loved my mark 1 Sirius (about as close to the scion as you can get) and preferred the geometry to the Bfe I’ve had since. I still have the Sirius frame in the garage and am unlikely to get rid of it, if I can avoid it.

OP – just replied to your post on another thread.

I’d say new Scion over a 2nd-hand Soul. Do feel free to email me.

I’ve had soul, 631 Sirius and scion. To me soul had much better ride quality (magic carpet ride but somehow feels solid too) and Pipedream much better geometry (just point it where you want to go…).
