Love my P7 - not tried a Pig but would still get another P7 over trying one.

Between those 2 the P7 is a better 'general xc' bike. Pig definitely happiest going up steep and down steep.
Weewillywinky selling a Genesis Alpitude frame in the classifieds, nice bike that makes a great xc/longer travel hardtail.

the new pigs are coming up in fall....the current ones are discontinued according to brant.....no 16# anymore on the CRC site..
