As title really – 29er tyres are getting more common, but are there any cheap decent bargain tyres out there? Even Bontrager tyres seem to have gone up a lot recently.

Light around a 2.0/2.1 would be ideal.

A bit more expensive, but Specialized Purgatory and Ground Control tyres are fab for under £30.

Bit pricy really after cheap, light, fast roller for a monster cross experiment.

Found Bonty 29-0 for a cheap price. A semi slick and 410g sound ideal – Bonty say race only so how strong and will it be puncture after puncture???

Yeah, 2 for £22 and they were 2.2″ 😆 Was a while ago, as there was some crazy Ribble sale thing going on where if you spend X you’d get Y% off as well, but certainly worth a look again!
