I bought a pair of Racing Ralfs & they’re HUGE!
Never having owned anything larger than a 2.1 on my 26ers, I was very hesitant in putting what clearly looked to be Clown’s tryres on the 29er.
However, I have been having some rides of such biking-clarity of late, including my fastst laps at Mayhen (I alternated with the Turner Flux, also on RR) so that if you have not yet really seen your 29er come alive as perhaps you had imagined, can I recommend these tyres to you?
I run them hard and it’s dry, dusty and reasonably quick ’round there parts. And to say she flyes would be an understatement.

My local 2hr ridge ride has 3 timed sections, one in the first 15 minutes that has been taking 9.15,9.20,9.23, 9.17 etc minutes. Now I’m suddenly down to 8.29 & now 8.21.

I think they only come in one size don’t they for the bigger wheels?
    2.25 on the 29er and 2.1 on the 26er.

They do a 2.4″ which is big. Bigger than my 2.55″ Werewolf on a gordo rim (put them head to head with Singlespeedstus RR at the MM)

I imagine that’s the one your using Ti29er.

That size wouldn’t fit in the frame!
    They’re a 2.25 from Bike24 in Germany.

    I run the 2.4s, they’re ACE

big tractor tyres with loads of grip…but they still roll fast and don’t weigh any more than lots of smaller 29er tyres

obviously you need a frame that’ll fit them though 😉
