got my speedhub and blunt P35 rims ( 32h) ready for a build . Just wanted to check re recommendations on lacing and spokes/brass nipples etc . want a strong reliable build as I’m no weight weenie and value reliability over peformance .

Make sure the spokes pull on the hub hole tabs in the correct direction. There is info on the rohloff site. Also cross pattern recommendations

read somewhere 3 cross was OK for 29ers but not 26… ?

Fwiw I’ve built 29″ 3x, but most hoff material seems more than happy at 2x

I’m sure Rohloff specify 2x. I must get round to building mine into a wheel – 10 years is a bit long to having it lying around. 🙂

With the large diameter hub 2x will be strong enough.
