Can anyone recommend me some rim tape for a 29er rim?

I cant think of any rim tape that isnt long enough for 700c (622 ERTO), you just dont have to cut the last few inches off as you would normally for a 26″ rim.

My preferred is Velox Fond de Jante cloth tape – which in fact I used yesterday on my two latest wheel builds, let me get my camera. Availble from any good LBS. I usually end up usig the 17mm as the 22mm only fits in the widest rims. They also do a 11mm or 12mm I think for road rims.

    Is the rim tape adhesive?

Velox rim tape is available in a massive roll- so plenty long enough for 29er use

except the massive rolls dont have the conveniently placed valve hole for the terminally idle like me 🙂

having said that, do you know a good supplier of th emassive rolls frosty?

    and, yes, it is adhesive.

the little individual velox rolls in 16mm and 22mm are long enough to to 29er rims – hey are only 700c after all

29er rims are just 700c rims, so anything long enough for a road bike will work.
