I use my voodoo 29er with shwalbe land cruiser tyres for my commute, but my rear wheel is fubar.I have a few 26″ wheels in the shed, so I was thinking of using one on the back. The tread profile on the 26″ land cruiser is much deeper than the 700c version, so I’m thinking the difference wont be too bad.

What do you think? Will it be too slack?

it’ll be OK, you’re only commuting after all – low bb though, watch for pedal strikes round corners (esp in traffic)

It is only a temporary measure, I will see how it goes.
