    OK, ok, £28 was for the frame only, and the hoses are too long, and the front rotor is too big, and I’ve zipped tied the rear hose to the frame instead of using those stupid guides. I can’t actually ride it either, so saddle/bars/brakes are probably wrong,

    Other than that, I love it..

    Tyres/valves need lining up, fence needs painted, stick needs removed from ground by back wheel, that crack in the concrete is off-putting to my OCD riddled brain.

    That better?

    Tidy build though. Bargain frame for £28!

    Is the headset spacer actually a singlespeed freewheel spacer?

    Nope, it’s from an integrated headset. Only spacer I had.

    Your seatpost appears to be worth more than your frame.

    If you’d have sold the cassette/mechs/chain guide/shifters on the classifieds you could have got a SS frame for double the price!

    what’s with orange valve caps ? (I have some and no idea where from – do they ripen ?)

    Think the valve caps are what come with old Maxxis Welter-Weight tubes.
