I bought a 13 inch Cube Sting recently and just find it too overwhelming with the large wheels. I’m only 5ft 2in so I don’t have much stand over on this bike. I tried it today with the 26 inch wheels from my hardtail and it seemed much more manageable. My LBS said that it would lower the BB and wouldn’t work but at least I felt that the bike fits me better with 26 inch wheels. Your opinions please!

At 5’2 you can run very short cranks (ideally less than 165mm) which will get you the clearance back that going from 27.5 to 26 wheels costs you.
