The Revelation coil fork on my Superlight is starting to wear through the LH stanchion. Revelation solo air RCT’s have been suggested as a replacement but is there anything else I should consider. I realise 26″ straight steerer forks are a rarity but there may be alternatives to the RCT. QR is fine too as I am pretty light and always been happy with QR. Saves complications on the Thule 561 carrier I use as well. Around 120 travel would probably be about right.

    Get them serviced/replace stanchions?

I thought about having the stanchions replaced by one of the companies that offer this service but something about pressing out a shrunk-fit component and replacing it makes me a bit nervous.
A new set of uppers is probably about as much as a new set of forks.
