Hi all, just wondering if anyone had any suggestions of 26 inch downhill wheels. Links would be appreciated

I’ve always gone with Hope hubs and Mavic 729 rims, not the lightest but can take a bit of abuse.

Have had good results with Sun Ringle MTX 33 on Formula and Hope hubs

No real budget just not too expensive as its just a bike to abuse

I’ve got some 26″ black Sun S-Type (4X/DH, 29mm internal) rims on black SS Switch 20f/142r hubs if they’re of interest? They’ve just been rebuilt onto the hubs with new spokes.

Interested in second hand at all?

I’m about to split my DH bike and sell the wheels. Sun Ringle A.D.D. Comp wheelset.

Hope hubs / Light Bicycle Carbon DH rims. Survived me riding like a tool in whistler and light too.

I think Limy on here has some for sale if he splits his Canfield.

Eldest_oab has destroyed a few rear wheels. He is on some Halo ones that were cheap in CRC sale. I’ve done a good tighten, and he has battered a lot with no issues.

Got a pair of Mavic Ex823 on hope pro 2 hubs for sale. Currently setup tubeless with xr4 bontrager tyres. Come with a spare rim too. Pm me if you want pics.
