Having fun and games with this tyre tubeless.

Bead snapped on OK, looks set all the way around but hasn’t sealed up yet, lots of bubbling where it meets the rim. It’s a protection sidewall, quite stiff.

One thing I have noticed is it seems higher on one section – clearances are tight, but the tyre hairs are brushing the fork crown for about a third of the rotation.

Normally I’d ride the hell out of the tyre to try to get it to seal properly, but should I be concerned about the shape?

    I’ve had a couple of misshaped Conti a Trail Kings – probably isn’t a bead but a molding issue…

Something I should worry about, or think about returning it before I get it trail worn?

I returned one because how it got through QC I have no idea. The weight of the bulge could be felt through the bars! The second was not a large wobble so I kept it without any issues.
