I’m running a 20mm rock shox axle on my new bike and after 8 week the quick release lever now has suddenly no resistance so doesn’t clip in anymore??

i used it a lot over the weekend and the screw in axle worked loose as well so it does more then looks!

Any help much appreciated!

There’s a 2.5mm (I think) allen headed bolt under the head of the lever that adjusts the tension needed to close the QR. Try winding it in a little and it should tighten up the lever again. Don’t try and alter the position of the lever relative to the fork once you’ve clamped it up – get the orientation right, then clamp it, or it’ll loosen off. I’m assuming it’s a current Maxle Lite btw, earlier Maxles work slightly differently.
