    Hi all,

I’m just in the process of moving over to a 29er bike and am looking to get some decent wheels built up.

I have just got a Reba RLT 29er 120mm fork with 20mm Maxle. I have some Arch rims ready as well as a 240s 10mm rear hub. I also have a 15mm 240s front hub but have found out that it can’t be converted to 20mm.
Would you guys recommend staying with the DT Swiss and getting the 20mm hub, or go with Hope which are much more interchangeable it seems? Or something else.
Basically, how do the 240s, Hope Pro 2 or other hubs like CK compare as there is a huge price difference between them?

Grateful for any advice and/or user experience.

    Cheers

well havent used any of the others but have pro2s on xc and dh bikes
swapping between 20mm/9mm/15mm/qr is a doddle
changing bearings is a doddle(not that the fronts need it very often)
    infact theyve been absolutely faultless
    hope customer service is ace
    they are made in britain

Cheers for that – yes, definitely lot’s of good reason’s to go with Hope.
I was curious about ease of maintenance too, and what you are really getting for the extra money with the others…durability, lighter weight, smoother rolling hubs..or just the bling factor? 🙂
