    Afternoon all,

Anyone know if this is a no-no? I know in the past a lot of forks said 180mm max?

I googled it for you and the maximum rotor size for a Pike is 200mm, so no, 203mm is too large and you will almost certainly die.

    I haven’t died yet.

Ha, cheers. I didn’t bother to Google this admittedly. And does anyone even make 200mm rotors? Thought 203mm was the standard, shimano don’t make 200 ones either.

Thanks, if it’s good for 200mm I’m happy with that, cheers.

avid/sram made 200mm rotors – you can buy new bikes with pikes that have 203mm rotors.

My Canyon Strive came with a 200mm rotor on the 160mm pikes… so yeah you’ll be fine.

You could always skim 1.5mm off the outer edge of the rotor – could be the vital difference and cheaper than buying a new rotor.

I run exactly that. By virtue of the fact I am writing this, I would suspect that I am not dead.

203mm on 160 Pikes for 3 years. Came as standard on my Enduro and on my Reign.

    Still not dead.
