The referee should never take charge of another game at that level. But let’s not take that away from a tremendous performance by Scotland.

After everything that has happened this World Cup that has seriously knocked me, the elation to complete sorrow in a few minutes at the end brought back horrible memories of Wales 4 years ago. Fully backing Argentina now to go all way.

Hats off to Scotland, nobody I guess was expecting that. The surprise of the world cup goes on and the quality of the games keeps getting better. At least rugby is the winner out of all this no matter how we all feel.

Still “dislike” Craig Joubert quite a lot

It’s very sad that after a performance like that much of the talk is about the referee. He shouldn’t get near another game at this or any other world cup.

Best game I’ve seen in a while, spoilt by some questionable decisions (both ways). Scotland stepped up in a way that neither England or Wales could, and to be honest shouldn’t have lost. That was never a yellow card (and the subsequent try was scored by the opposing winger, so would probably have been tackled in a 1 on 1), and the final penalty… Not even questionable. Should have gone to the TMO, who would (should) have seen it came off an Aussie player last…

I assume the late hit on Hogg was shown on the big screen in the stadium? Thought the ref might even have gone back for that.

It’s a shame that all we’re talking about is the ref, after what really was a quality game.
