    Hi all
On a ride the other month my SRAM red crank fell off
When I got bak home I put it all back together ,cleaned up the thread and added lockite thread locking compound

Today the bloody thing fell off again ….is this a common problem with the SRAM red 2013?
What else would you add to fix this??

My mate has the old style 2011 SRAM red ….with no problems
    Thanks in advance

Mine haven’t fallen to bits. Haven’t heard of problems. I’d get an LBS to give them the once over.

What torque setting did you set the bolt to?

It’s not actually the bolt that holds them on.It’s and interference fit between the tapered splines on the arm and the ones on the bb spindle (the bolt just pushes the together).Riding with them loose the first time has widened the splines (they are ali) and pretty much no matter what you do with the bolt they will continually work loose over time.Replacing the nds arm may help if the axle is’nt damaged also.
    No, it’s not warranty
Yes, you should have checked them regularly

    +1 what inky said.

Once the NDS arm is damaged it will struggle to stay tight ever again. You could try to source a replacement NDS arm, as the axle is steel so it will be the alu arm itself which is chewed up I suspect.
