Sort of want a new bike, but cant justify replacing the Pitch. The only downside i can think of is the back end is a bit twangy.

I think there are specialist websites for that sort of thing.

    Oh, there are… 😈

Back on topic, don’t underestimate the size of the pitch, it is a very long frame, so may still be suitable. The one I have spare was used by my missus – I replaced it with an enduro (same forks) and knocked 5″ off the wheelbase!!

I admit that I am going purely on the numbers. I’m a gnat’s manhood under 6ft and have a personal limit, based on experience, of nothing shorter than 600mm for a cockpit / horizontal top-tube. IIRC the M Pitch is around 585mm and the L is somewhere in the region of 615mm, which should be about perfect with a 50mm stem.

In all seriousness, try both before you buy – I’m 6′ with short legs/long torso and I ride a medium. Dpends whether you want it as an all-day epic bike or a sub-4hr ride hooligan bike really I guess. I went for the latter…

Im 6ft, they have a very steep effective seatube which makes the top tube look short so when stood up it feels perfect. It doesnt line up with the BB so the published geometry numbers are a bit missleading.

As above, it’s a long bike with a short cockpit. I’m just under 6ft and my Medium Pitch does feel quite short when sat down. Great for a play bike, but not so good for a long distance machine.

I’m a kick in the arse of 5’9″ and ride a medium. I wouldn’t want it any shorter for all day rides tbh.

    Mine……

Best bikes I’ve ever owned! The red and black one ended up quite pimped out and I really regret selling them.

Anyone over 6 foot 1 really needs a large!
