TJ, the same is true of my bike.

Doesn't make it any less true that some products sold in this country are developed and tested in countries that have vastly different conditions to us, and by people who've never experienced a British Winter, let alone ridden a bike through one. People complain about the price of stuff as it is, imagine the extra costs of having to develop stuff to specifically deal with just 4-5 months in one country…Anyway my seat post (non moving) doesn't seem to have any difficulty coping with wet conditions at all 😉
