I'm tyring to buy a 1×9 single ring chain device, and so far i can only find MRP's 1.X and the E.13 XCX, both which aren't exactly cheap.

SSC are due to release their 1×9 device in a month or so for £15… which looks a bargain, but is anyone else making a cheaper alternative already?

And i dont want to use a bash guard and a chain keeper – it'll add too much faff and too much weight – even though it would be a good solution for someone else.

(something like Paul's chain keeper and a cheap bash).
