    I am currently building a 1×10 hardtail, with a 11-36t cassette and a 36t front ring.

    I would like a shimano slx M670 rd gs but not sure if it would work together?

    It says that the mech has a 35t capacity. What does this mean and will it fit?

    Yep – it’ll be fine. ‘capacity’ refers to the difference between gears.
