Just put a new sram chain on my 1×10 and it’s making a funny noise like it’s rubbing/catching but it’s all clear. I had a shimano on before which was fine from the off. Noiser when I apply more load to the pedals.

R/F narrow/wide up front. Checked gears set up correctly.

Does it just need to bed in?

Also have this funny noise, KMC chain on RF n/w front. Can’t figure out why and I just ignore it.

Put old chain back on ANC all is well again. Maybe rest is worn enough to cause the noise. Couldn’t be doing with it for tomorrow’s ride.

Where’s the noise coming from? Jockey wheels / cassette?

Had it on my old chain which was a kmc but it did ‘bed in’. Got myself a new cassette and xt chain recently and was quiet straight away. The xt chain is directional, not sure if that is the reason.
