Race HQ at the Dales Bike Centre, so probably the best pre- and post-race coffee and cakes going!

An event like that will likely get tonnes of entries on the day, a bit hasty no?

I assume they can't take the risk of a low turnout?

I was going to enter on the day, as there was a chance I was going to have just moved house so wasn't certain I'd make it.

bugger – I didn't know about it, but would defo have done it had I known. How long has it been 'public' for?

First I heard about it was 2 weeks ago, when I posted this here. I heard on Twitter, from @DalesBikeCentre that day and the story went on the front page of STW that same day.
