    Anyone near Nottingham or Sheffield who might be able to loan me a 1/8″ bspt tap or tap a brass fitting for me?

    I’ll have a look at work defiantly got 1/8″ NPT should have BSP.

    Only got a 1/8″ NPT it’ll probably do the job if it’s only for low pressure.
    I’m at work today near Rother valley / Beighton if you want to try it?

    Not much difference between bsp and npt up to about an inch

    Sorry, got tied up today. It’s so I can try to pressurise my seatpost. It needs to peak around 250 psi but not sustain it.

    That’ll be fine with a bit of ptfe tape.
    I live in S8 but got draws full of fittings at work so will be able to sort something out.
