Anyone had 1.5kW solar PV installed recently? Pretty straightforward mid terrace Victorian house, with pitched south facing roof.

Just trying to work out if I should try and get some before the end of the FITs etc. I’d assumed they would set me back close to £5k, but bits and bobs in the net suggest more like £2k.

£5k with get you 4kw, best be quick it’s taking 6 weeks to get the paperwork processed so many folk are trying to beat the deadline.

It’ll be very cheap in January 😉

Where are you based? Are you sure you cannot get more than 1.5kw on

I’m in Bath. The roofs only big enough for 6 panels, so 1.5-1.75kW is the max??
