I have my lads 15" Trek 6500 (XT KIT) which I may move on depending how he gets on with his new XMAS prezzie....when do you need it if it was suitable??

Got a 14.5" Identiti Dr Jekyll Frame with seatpost, headset, clamp, got a frotn wheel missing 1 spoke and larsen tyre, kore short stem OS, and a stripped saddle as well and some worn but useable peaty lockon grips. Can do the lot for £110 posted if you fancied sourcing forks, cranks, drivechain, brakes, bars, rear wheel. could come in at about £200 if you did well/got bits in the spares bin? Can have it couriered on Friday with you for Monday/Tuesday next week and I'm sure STW could point you in the right direction for other bits and would be better than a standard small cheap bike?

hi jonny m, I might have something for you. I have an as new commencal maxmax (so jump/4x sort of thing) frame that has been waiting to be built up for ages. I don't know if you are after something more xc coriented, but it is fairly light. I could build it up with a variety of (used)bits from my spares box- rigid or pike 454s, Avid juicy 7s, hope/mavic wheels, truvativ cranks... that sort of thing... get in touch if that is anything like what you'd be after. Wouldn't be able to sort it before next week though, so might be a bit late for you.

thanks for the replys. my budget will be £200 max so i think that rules out most of the above.
