Thinking of going HT full time this year and hanging the 575 in the garage as an ornament.

Will be transfering most of the kit onto the Voodoo Wanga but will the 145mm Manitou Nixon forks be too long?
Will it make it too slack?

you'll probably tear the headtube off on the first big jump as it's not gusseted for a big travel fork, they are designed around 100mm. Have you thought about a 456 frame or a voodoo baka?

130mm on mine felt awful, wound down to around 110mm feels spot on

Been running the Wanga as a SS with 130mm on and it feels fine.
I was planning on putting the 130's on another frame and having that as a commuter SS and putting the 145's on the Wanga.
I have compared the bikes stood together and there is little in it with regard to geometery, but point taken re the gusset stuff, but I am not a big jumper.

Anyone tried 69er-ising thiers with a rigid fork and proper off-road tyres? (I think I saw a pic of yours Rocketdog with what looked like a cx front tyre??)

    What was it like?
