    Does such a thing exist?
Is it possible to convert a Hope SS hub to this newfangled configuration?

A little too spendy for the person that wants it.

Looking at the Hope site it seems they do a Pro2 evo ss 142 x 12 hub.
Not sure if I can convert the none Evo version though?

Last time I saw a thread on this the only answer was Paul Components (which takes a screw-on freewheel), or persuading BETD to make a one-off.

Innards of the Hope SS hub are different to the normal Pro 2 Evo so won’t convert, unless something has changed.

The question is will the innards of the EVO SS hub fit in my none EVO SS hub?

I know you can do it with the standard rear hub but unsure about the SS.

I stand corrected. However, the exploded drawing doesn’t show any parts for the 12mm conversion. Ask Hope in the morning?

    Yep I’ve mailed them already.

Another thought that occurs (if you’re prepared to buy a new hub) would be to ask Simon from Nicolai UK – he was after one for a Pinion Helius and started a few threads on the subject.

It has crossed my mind that a new hub may be a better option if it involves changing bearings, freehub body, axle and end caps.

If it’s just axle and endcaps i’ll be sorted.

Just looked at the parts diagrams from EVO and none EVO and spoken to Hope.
Kit HUB255 will drop into either hub and do what I want. 🙂

For anyone that’s looking to convert their ss hub in future the HUB255 kit fits in the older none EVO hub no problem at all.
