    Hi All,

I’m what might be considered a lurker, although I like to think of it as casting a friendly eye over the (occasionally) frothing masses. 🙂
Anyhow, I’m after a new frame soon and looking for one that has:

    1) 650b
    2) approx 120mm rear travel
    3) capable of taking 140+ forks
    4) built stiff

I know there’s the Pyga and the SC 5010 might work. Any other ideas?
    Many thanks.

Hi Slackalice, I take it you like the Pyga?

Loving it, truth be told sanername 😀

Built it up last May and it’s currently in ‘winter storage’ while I subject the HT to the gloop of winter riding. I can’t wait to get back out on it. XC in Hampshire to French Alps, it deals with it all astoundingly well, great fun to ride and continually tempts me to look for hops and jumps – which, given my general reluctance toward ‘air’, fat, sick or otherwise, is something of an achievement!

I’ve written a few bits about it on here, so have a search, the few press reviews Ive read on it are pretty accurate as it goes. The 110 29 rides very similar and there’s more on that one here too.

    Have you ridden one yet?

That’s just described my perfect next bike….so I may just watch this with interest.

I haven’t ridden Pyga yet and I guess I might as well come clean (open myself up to ridicule) the plan is to run this frame with a 120mm 29er up front and a 650b in the rear.

Idiotic? Possibly, but I’ve been doing it on a softtail and been loving it, now I just feel like something with a little more squish in the rear.
