I recently bout a Whyte 19 in large that has the longest head tube I've ever seen. As a result, I need a 120-130mm fork with a 220mm steerer, as my Reba SL steerer is too short.
Failing that, a relatively cheap hardtail frame either 18" or 19"

I might be splitting my trance ( see here http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/fs-xl-giant-trance-maxle-rebas ) but i'm not going to till either the frame goes, or my socom frame goes. If I do though, i'll have a pair of 240mm steerer rebas...
Waiting to hear from 2 folk about the socom, so if they're of interest let me know and I'll keep you updated.
