I have found good deals at on-one.

Merlin are usually pretty good. Tend to buy a shim cassette then KMC chain for an unpainful amount

my recent purchases were KMC from crc for a tenner and SLX cassettes from wiggle (I think? or a couple of others) for £19-£21.

Not a huuuge weight difference between XT and SLX weight. 40-50 grammes?

Have been pricing components up the last day or so. Cheapest without going to the Germans:

Simple KMC chain on CRC is £10.

XT cassette is £32.50 on Merlin, £33.99 on CRC.

I think.
