    I am new to shimano MTB 10 speed chains, a HG74 came on my 2011 Giant XTC 29er. I’ve always liked connector links on my 9 speeds, so would like to use a re-usable 10 spd KMC link on the above.

    Will it work ok?, or will I die?

    I use the KMC links on my 10 speed road bike chain.
