  • 10 speed powerlink type connector.?

    I have used Sram powerlinks for ages but looking at there new 10 speed one it is not designed to come apart which kind of defeats the point of a power link. Are there any alternatives around.?

    I looked around for these and settled on the KMC ones which work fine.

    I’ve been using the Wipperman links with 10 speed since 2007 or so.

    Do they influence shifting performance with the new shimano chains and their special directional ramps on the link plates?

    No idea. The last bike I bought with shimano gears was in 1992.
