Rudland Rigg is 95% rideable from Gillamoor end to Bloworth Crossing, but then there is still serious snow drifts north of there, both towards Ingleby Incline and north along the Rigg. As a rule of thumb where ever there is a cutting of any depth it will be full to the top with snow.

went up black hambleton (from swainby) on saturday. its still covered in deep icy snow right on/over the top. you can just about ride on it without sinking in, and off the track you can ride in the rough heather. i came off the cleveland way down the gulley descent into kepwick and back up through silton woods. its all o.k. except on the highest parts.

Still deep snow drifts in places, two foot or more and some nasty slushy stuff. All a bit pants really, the lower stuff round Sheepwash is fine. You can link a loop from Sheepwash to Silton Forest including the downhill route and back via Square Corner without too much hassle (but a bit more road). Not sure about the Rosedale side of things, but I can report back later as I'm riding/surveying Rudland Rigg this afternoon.

Like unsponsored said there's still snow in places. If you've got decent winter kit and your prepared for bad weather on the tops (i.e whistle, survival bag) you should be right.
I've been on the tops near Stokesley this time of year when the cloud has come down in 5 mins and its pretty sketchy, its not really been dry up here since December so prepare to get muddy.
