I demo'd a tallboy on Wednesday and it's a great bike, cruises through most stuff without much effort and seated the shock doesn't bob much. As with most 29ers the climbing seems a bit harder and it took me a while to get it off the ground... But that's a 29 thing, not bike specific.

Like others have said you're comparing chalk with cheese.

Ohh and I won't be buying a tallboy. Nice bike but just not me.

Very kind of you Taz but i think a 35t is a bit too much for my "not been out on a singlespeed much in the last 12 months" legs.
Though I could try in on my fatbike? Would it work with an upper chainguide on a 1x9 setup?

That does kindof look like you've just wrapped some fake Blutack round normal earphones!

Still, if you like the Smurf look......

made them up this morning.
And they seem to work OK. Admittedly I now look a bit special needs and if you see me on the 6:41 to paddington with these in, you have my permission to ignore me.

They stay in place while putting my scooter helmet on too which is handy. Although it's a bit painful taking the helmet off as it rolls the plug out and there's not a lot of room to get my head, my interplanetary radar ears and the plugs out.

Not quite as silencing as jamming the buds in the ear canal (prob 90% as good though).
