Hi squiff, if they were 'nearly new' I prob would. Postage on tyres is a bit pricy. These are unridden so lowest including posting would be £38. If you are close to Wiltshire you are more than welcome to collect. Cheers.

Very pleased with my Exotics, not that they've had a huge amount of use but they don't get babied either. Light, cheap, and never heard of a set breaking (some people have had issues with the carbon steerer models though). Mine are the 29er ones for the geometry correction but a 445mm one is available, £85.

Some people are worried about buying cheap carbon I know but if you want the performance of the Exotics at a higher price you can buy the exact same fork branded up as Nukeproof or White Bros, at almost exactly twice the price

Only reason not to get On-One is being a fashion victim.

They don't break, they steer well, and they're light enough.

Thinking I may give rigid a go for the winter.

Since the demise of the Pace RC31 what options do I have for carbon forks 440mm/100mm corrected?

Since I am a tart not sure I fancy on-ones.

For Winter, I use the SealSkinz merino wool socks. They are longer, ie mid-calf. Coupled with the Shimano boots, that should work perfectly, but boots do need to be a size larger.

+1 except I squeeze into my usual size 10 Tahos - just!

I bought around 12 pairs of smartwool ones last year. some are mid thickness in a low cut which are good for summer riding and theres diffrent lengths and thicknesses of the others. some seem to be more tightly woven than others and are a diff sock. i cant remember which ones are which but they have done wonders for my dodgy feet.i had been getting flaky skin on my feet since i was a kid whenever i got my feet wet and its always been a mare to sort it out. with merino they help quite a bit and they feel bone dry after a days use when i kick off my shoes. I would often have have damp feet after wearing trainers at work with cotton socks but those days have gone.

They were selling for something like £4-6 quid a pair in sports direct.

Looks like the WoolieBoolies &/or Sealskins then. (does Peaty wear WoolieBoolies I wonder)
Thanks everyone!

My alpkit socks were a big disappointment. They were fine before they were washed, but now are really difficult to get on and they make this funny crackling sound as they're stretched...

They got washed with all my other wool socks at normal 40 degrees so not sure what I've done wrong.
