According to the latest What MTB magazine (i think) their review of the 09 Stumpy HT Comp weighed in at 23.2 lbs without pedals.

Not sure on the weight of mine as I don't worry too much about that. I'd guess around the 25lb mark, it feels a lot lighter than my Fuel EX.

I've got a 2006 HT Comp with the M4 frame & it's a fantastic machine.

I use mine with slicks on for commuting & knobblies for off road duties. Depending on the type of tyres I put on it, it weighs in at around the 26lb or 27lb mark. I would assume that newer ones are even lighter again as they have the M5 frame.

I've had this bike for 3 years now & I can't see me parting company with it anytime soon.

I used to own 2005 Stumpy HT, it was a brilliant bike. Pretty much as described above. I'd buy another in a shot. Still using the saddle that came on it now actually. Only sold it as I didn't want such a XC race orientated machine, it was a wee bit harsh for really long days in the saddle and I'm a notorious sufferer of upgradeitis...

I've got a new 2009 expert, it's great! The new sid forks are so much better than the old ones and the Avid Exlir brakes work really well.

Goes up hill like a rocket and very confidence inspiring on technical (xc) downs. If you get one you wont regret it.

Anyone have a Specialized Stumpjumper HT ?

Either the Comp or Expert model, just looking at HT's and just wanted to see what people thought of it.

Cheers.
