Witnessed my mate drink 14 pints in two hours when we were younger. He proceeded to chuck it back up every 5 yards for about 150 yards walked but he kept it down for 15 minutes. So, err, in effect, he couldn't. But, I'm still amazed he did it. EDIT. Infact, there isn't room in my body for that volume of liquid or most of it. He must have sloshed around like a water baloon.
