Urge Bike Products Launch SeriAll Helmet

by 0

The maker of those crazy helmets that look like they have engine exhausts on them, Urge, has just announced the release of a new entry-level helmet called the SeriAll. Designed with the input of three time downhill World Champion Fabien Barel (a notoriously fussy rider AND a qualified engineer), the SeriAll looks to have lots of high-tech features while retaining a cheaper price than Urge’s existing helmet options.

Unlike some of Urge’s other crazy designs, the SeriAll uses a more conventional vented design in a trail-style lid that places a little more coverage around the temples and the rear of the head. The SeriaAll still gets their trademark plastic visor though, which they’ve managed to squeeze in an exhaust port because…well, because exhaust port.

New trail-style lid from Urge that’s a little more pedestrian than their existing radical designs. Yes, we said the ‘R-word’!

Despite costing 79 euros, the SeriAll looks pretty sorted for a trail helmet. It’s got plenty of coverage, and it features a full in-mold construction with the plastic shell covering pretty much the whole EPS foam core. We dig helmets that wrap the PC shell underneath the rim of the helmet, as it means the foam doesn’t get chipped away when you toss the helmet in the back of the car post-ride.

Otherwise we don’t have masses of techy details from Urge’s press release, but I guess they only sent through the basics as needed to get the press release for the SeriAll out urgently. Oh is that the office door over there? Yep, ok, we’ll just shuffle our way that direction then…

Looks chunky, like our mate Barry.
