Via Bike-EU, we’ve learned that Cube have pulled out of Eurobike 2016. They’re an enormous company and had over 260 models of bike on show at Eurobike this year. US manufacturers Trek and Specialized have both scaled down some of their trade show presences over the years, having become big enough to present directly to their dealers, which is exactly what Cube plans to do.

In a release, Cube have said that they’re going to invest on more demo days, and they’re going to hold a consumer day in their August dealer show at the factory in Waldershof, Germany. We’ll let you know more details as and when we get them.

David started mountain biking in the 90’s, by which he means “Ineptly jumping a Saracen Kili Racer off anything available in a nearby industrial estate”. After growing up and living in some extremely flat places, David moved to Yorkshire specifically for the mountain biking. This felt like a horrible mistake at first, because the hills are so steep, but you get used to them pretty quickly. Previously, David trifled with road and BMX, but mountain bikes always won. He’s most at peace battering down a rough trail, quietly fixing everything that does to a bike, or trying to figure out if that one click of compression damping has made things marginally better or worse. The inept jumping continues to this day.
