What’s been happening in the last year chaps?
A complete shop refit and the introduction of super-dooper till system. We became a Fox Service Centre which has been a very positive move.
In general however, it seems that the WHOLE world has gone biking nuts! We are on the C2C route and have seen so many more charity riders on a full spectrum of bikes.
We also ran our first Gravity stage race which had over 200 riders who all received a specially brewed beer. Oh and the sun has been out lots more … goodtimes.
What product line would you hate to lose from the shop?
That’s simple. The Cube Stereo, Mondraker Foxy and the custom Yetis of course.
How do you compete against the big onliners?
By offering a much better personal service and pulling out all the stops to make it happen. As a trail centre shop we are often able to offer a Formula 1 pit crew type service, or by building your dream bike, after listening to your input from the ground up.
On a daily basis we are used to tight deadlines to get bikes fixed and ready to ride on our fantastic trails. Our strongest offer is a free days coaching for two when you buy two bikes from Cyclewise. This has proved massively popular with customers.
What’s hot in-store?
The Mondraker Foxy is the bike to have at the moment, with their new, forward geometry these bikes have made a real leap forward in bike design. Otherwise, our customers can get chance to test out some top draw components on our test bikes. We can’t wait for the new Di2 XTR and the ‘top-secret’ new Yeti bikes to land in-store!

Our Core Skills Course is one of our most popular courses and the contains the four most important skills you can ever learn when it comes to Mountain Biking. Become a better rider, bursting with confidence, new techniques and the control to handle the most difficult of terrain with ease.
