This week, we’re introducing: Drink Tea Ride Bikes
Tuesday Treats is heading to the riding mecca, where West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire conspire to meet, on the cusp of the Dales. We hand duties over to Co-founder Robin Puplett who talks us through the life and exciting times ahead of the deliciously-lovely, Drink Tea Ride Bikes…
Drink Tea Ride Bikes is a blogging shop for tea drinking bike enthusiasts. We are a small company celebrating our first year in business, teetering on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and made up of people who are all passionate about bikes, art, photography, design and anything creative in general.
Riding bikes, drinking tea and keeping things fun is our ethos and always puts a smile on our faces. We want to share this inspiration with you, through our musings, experiences and our product.
What’s your current best-selling/hottest product?
Our current product ranges will keep you looking rather fresh in our locally screen printed and ethically sourced t-shirts, offer your taste buds a quality tea experience and decorate your walls with limited edition screen prints, if you so desire.
Which product/brand does every staff member have on their bike?
That’s a bit of dilemma when you consider that my business partner, Sam (Needham – Singletrack Issue 87 cover star) is predominantly a mountain biker and I’m more road-focussed but like all serious cyclists we’re passionate about all things two wheeled most of all. The main thing, is that we ride and we ride a lot, putting our time on two wheels first is very much our ethos. For us, running the company and riding our bikes seems to be intrinsically linked with developing ideas out on the trails.
Is there a regular shop ride or forthcoming event you think our readers should know about?
We exhibited at the Yorkshire Bicycle Show in 2013 and won best stand which was a bit of a boost. We’d like to be heading back this year if the stars align to try and retain the honour.
Talk to us about plans afoot… where are you guys heading next?
Landing in the next few weeks we have a limited run Tour de France design that we are really rather fond of. Stay connected on Facebook and Twitter so we can reveal all. Listening to our audience we have also grown our tea range to include Racing Green, our take on the ever-popular green tea.
