Perhaps the best bottle opener name… ever
This one’s for Nobeerinthefridge: Though they are saving the good stuff for Interbike this fall, MRP did have a new goody on display at Sea Otter last week. Machined in house, in Grand Junction, Colorado, the Decapitator is a direct mount derailleur blanking plate that also removes bottle caps.
$25 $30 price includes a Decapitator and matching low-profile alloy bolt. Teetotalers (or those who prefer harder stuff to the fizzy) can opt for a $20 blank version. Either way, there’s no reason for singlespeed or 1x riders to go around with an uncovered direct-mount plate.
