Fancy a week of competitive Alpine descending?
“This event truly levels-the-playing-field between the technically brilliant, the athletically fit, the mentally determined, and the mindful strategist…” That sounds like a good time.
Now with Shimano’s support, the Trans-Savoie Enduro is gearing up for a second running this summer- and is giving away a free entry. Quite possibly the best-photographed race on the planet, the Trans-Savoie Enduro looks to be a truly epic event, featuring twenty-seven timed stages over the course of six days in August. The overall descending totals… well, it totals a really, really big number.
Question: How many metres in vertical descent will be ridden by each participant during the 2014 Trans-Savoie Enduro?
In fact, a quick trip to trans-savoie.com will net the reader that number. And that number and and some contact info are all that are needed to enter for a chance to win a free entry, valued at nearly £1,200. Just take your answer on over to Shimano Distributor Madison’s entry form, plug it in, and cross your fingers. You’ll need to be able to get yourself to the French Alps for the week 23-30th August 2014 and be at least eighteen years of age by the first day of racing. Entries close on 30 March: Good luck!
