TweedLove, Who’s in? Are you in? Here are many reasons from a whole host of folks from all over the place why you should be in, but also what TweedLove is all about!
I have never EVER made anything like this ever before but, what seemed completely out of my depth (creating a video of just people chatting) was actually an awesome opportunity to have a good chit chat to some of the many many amazing and interesting people that live here and visit the Tweed Valley and get excited about about the TweedLove Festival and what it brings to the area.

ESCAPE – Anfiteatro – Chile with Jérôme Clementz
In February Jey went one month in Chile to ride in summer but also discovers the potential of this country for riding enduro ! He was particularly fascinated by a trail which starts to the top of the hill in Las Varas, and ends almost in the city of Santiago (7 million inhabitants)! An old amphitheater overlooks the city and start the trail ! Jey shred this fast, dusty, rocky, and full of cactus trail directly made for after works.
Sometimes good trails are just behind the corner..
BikePark Wales race team
Supporting local racers and giving them the necessary tools to compete to the best of their ability has always been an aim for the team behind BikePark Wales, realising this just six months after opening, with such a strong team is a real bonus. The intention in years to come is to grow the team with a focus on nurturing young talent.
The team was pulled together late in 2013 after discussions between BikePark directors Martin and Rowan and the two other team riders revealed a common goal. All the riders wanted to be part of a team that would provide great equipment and support as well as a great venue at which to train, and of course some good times during the season with an emphasis on fun and solid results.
The team got together for their first official ride at BikePark Wales on a sunny day in February to dial in their new bikes and get the banter flowing. Leon set the scene for the rest of the day by sending an enormous huck on the “Locomotion” trail that left everyone scratching their heads. Rowan showed he still has the skills that earned him the reputation as one of the UK’s most stylish riders, whilst Duncan and Martin both made their intentions for the upcoming DH and Enduro season clear with some solid riding. Most importantly, this first get together set the scene for good times during the rest of the 2014 season and it was all captured on film.

Starting as a product promo for a sponsor, this project took on a life of its own when the company and I parted ways at the end of last year. With the resulting sense of change, growth, and uncertainty, I felt the need to keep this project as personal and true to myself as possible. I couldn’t be happier with how everything took shape and I hope it’s as enjoyable to watch as it was to make. Filmed over the past fall and winter in North Carolina, Maryland, Texas, and Japan. Huge thanks to everyone who helped with the filming.
