This weekend will see the start of one of the biggest 24 hour endurance races in the world – yup, Wiggle Mountain Mayhem will be kicking off in Eastnor Castle Deer Park from this Friday onwards. Along with thousands of mountain bikers from across the country, Singletrack’s motley crew will be setting up camp and getting stuck in over the weekend.
As tradition dictates, every team will get a paper copy of the Mountain Mayhem Magazine in their pack, but it’s also available for free viewing either below, via our Flash based page-flippy version here or as a PDF download here.
Your browser does not support iframes.
If you’re at the event, you’ll also get a special voucher code inside for a free trial digital subscription to Singletrack Magazine, just in case you or your pit crew need something to read during your racing downtime.
We’ll also be broadcasting race standings, news and galleries via our magic-air-network, allowing you to keep tabs on the leaders as well as general goings-on.
It’ll be accessible by wandering up to the Singletrack tent with your smartphone, tablet or (if you’re not into the whole brevity thing) laptop and then logging on to the singletrackmm network.
You’ll just need to enter the simple password – that’s singletrackmm as well – and then open your browser. You’ll then be automatically redirected to our Mountain Mayhem mini-site to access everything we’ll be posting at the event.
Weather update: We’ve just been told Patrick Adams and team have been hard at work weatherproofing the course, re-routing some the the traditionally muddiest parts, so should the worst happen (it won’t! it won’t!) then the course will still be fun to ride. Yes, we know some of you will be disappointed by that, but come 3am you may change your mind.
We’ll see you there on Friday!

So same rubbish course as last year, only worse. Hurray.
Ooh. Miserable 🙂
Actually Pat’s trail builders have been on site since Friday re-routing parts of the course to better stand up to the weather theyve had and are expecting to come.
Thanks for the pdf version. ‘Flash’ I’m sure appeals to some.
